Exizent Launches Correspondence for Estate Administration

Exizent, the company that supports legal professionals with tools to simplify estate administration and reduce operational burdens has launched a new, much requested Correspondence feature.  The new functionality now means fully automated letters can be created in seconds using templates or built from scratch within the platform, streamlining the volume of communication required in estate administration.  Dynamic fields pull correct account details, financial institution names and addresses directly from Exizent, so every letter is accurate, consistent and ready to send.

Philip Nairn, Co-Managing Director, Exizent explains:

“When someone passes away, there is much communication and administration which needs to be undertaken by executors and families of the deceased, commonly termed as ‘sadmin’.  However, legal teams also need to deal with a mountain of correspondence, as every estate administration case involves a steady flow of letters to banks, building societies, trustees, executors and beneficiaries.  This time-consuming, repetitive work also carries the risk of errors when re-entering details across multiple letters.

“Our clients have been asking if we can support and help improve their letter admin and we are pleased that the new feature now solves their challenges, by automatically pulling information from the case file and from the Estatesearch Group’s institution database, saving time, reducing errors and inconsistencies.  Templates also ensure a standardised approach across the firm, presenting a professional image every time.

“This important development is one more step in our mission to make probate faster, easier and better connected by helping firms communicate more clearly and accurately while keeping cases moving forward.”

Anna Barker, Operations Director, Squiggle Consult, confirmed: ''We’ve been using Exizent for three months now, and it has really streamlined and simplified the way we work. The platform makes our processes much more efficient, and we particularly value the ability to upload documents directly into each institution’s section.  The automatic creation of the assets and liabilities schedule from the information we’ve input throughout a case is also a huge time-saver.  We have recently trialed the new Correspondence feature, which has been a game-changer for us, allowing us to personalise templates and save us a significant amount of time.  Exizent has quickly become an invaluable tool for our team.”

Exizent also offers other services to law firms to streamline processes, save time, and improve accuracy.  For example, once details of estate assets are confirmed, Exizent’s system helps identify and auto fill documents such as the IHT400 form, in addition to the production of estate accounts.
