A Christmas Message from Exizent CEO, Nick Cousins

As we approach the end of 2022, I am afforded the opportunity to reflect on another extraordinarily challenging year in which to establish and grow an early-stage business.

The easing of restrictions around the pandemic seems like another age, but was only 9 months ago, and from there it has felt like the world has stumbled from one crisis to another, creating a business environment that has required careful navigation. I salute all those who have managed to steer their own ships through these choppy waters. 

For the Exizent team our purpose was brought into sharp focus earlier in the year with the loss of one of our own team, Aruna, who was a warm, caring, valued and much respected Exizenter. Her sudden passing hit the whole team hard, and she is greatly missed, however it further reinforced why we are here and how important it is that we make things easier for those that have lost someone. 

In continued service to that mission, 2022 has been a year of significant product development and delivery for Exizent as we focused our collective effort on the introduction of two key features that support a practitioner in the end to end completion of an estate administration case:

Thanks to the commitment of the team and the invaluable ongoing engagement of our customers and practitioners, these two vital features are now live and in use on the platform, saving our users significant time and effort and making their lives easier. 

Looking ahead, 2023 promises to be another critical year in the evolution of Exizent as we continue to add more functionality to our legal services platform, and in an exciting step froward we begin the development of our institutional bereavement solution for a large financial services firm, transforming the way that they receive, respond, and manage bereavement queries from notifiers. As we work towards our goal of a connected, multi-sided platform for bereavement administration, the introduction of a solution to help institutions better manage their interactions with those most in need of help will be a significant moment on that journey. Stay tuned to hear more as it develops. 

None of the progress we have made so far, or will do in the future, would be possible without the support and engagement of our team, our partners and critically our customers. We genuinely love the feedback we get from our users as it helps us to continually improve the products and services that we offer. So I’d like to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has played a role (big or small) in helping Exizent deliver on our vision. 

I’m excited to look ahead to 2023 and what is on the horizon. Before then though, I hope that you all have an opportunity to enjoy the festive season.
